Best of Houston

So, I don’t know if you’ve heard, but it’s November. Yeah. Oh 2010, where hast thou gone? I might be alone in my mourning for a year that is going by entirely too quickly. But on the other hand, I’m just 30 days away from being able to listen to Christmas music with my head held high. See? There’s always an upside.

The other great thing about the imminent conclusion of this year is that now is a perfect time to sign a new lease/move/look for a great new apartment. Property managers are starved for new tenants during this time of year because everyone who walks through their doors wants to “wait until after the holidays.” That being said, they’ll hop on one leg and promise their first born to get you to sign on the dotted line, which means great deals for you!

If you’ve been contemplating a move or just happen to be coming to the area in the next few months, you’re in luck! Great prices on beautiful apartments await you. So if you’re hoping to get a lot for your money, you may want to bite the bullet and snap up a place during this busy time of year.

For those who are still lying awake at night wondering if Houston is indeed the greatest city in the south, if not the world, you can feel good knowing that tonight you will sleep like a rock. The Best Of Houston 2010 results are in, which promises about a million new reasons to love this town and a million more new places, business, services, and products to try and, eventually, love.

The Houston Press’s annual Best Of Houston directory compiles a long list of the top choices for a menagerie of categories. From people to places to ideas, this list has it all. Wondering what might be the best place to have a drink with an oilman? Answered. The best bike shop? You got it. The best gun range (this IS Texas, y’all)? Delivered.
