Cadillac Bar = Ultimate Brunch

If you have not yet been to Cadillac Bar, you are seriously missing out. And that’s just all there is to it.

Cadillac Bar is just one of many Tex-Mex stops in Houston. Of course, they all claim to have the ultimate in authentic cuisine. And who’s to say which one should get the prize? All I know is that I love Cadillac Bar.

Cadillac Bar takes a pass on the traditional sombrero-pinata decor and goes straight for something a little more unexpected. The interior is snappy but casual, and a lot more artistic than you’d expect from a standard Tex-Mex spot. Maybe that’s because Cadillac Bar is anything but standard?

This very hip spot puts a Southern–even Cajun–spin on some of your favorite Tex-Mex dishes. I recently had the crawfish enchilada, and I’m not sure my life will ever be the same. This is definitely the way to eat crawfish, or mud bugs, or whatever you want to call them.

The regular menu has lots of surprises and you won’t be let down. But Cadillac’s Sunday brunch is the real star of the show. This is an epic spread of ‘Gladiator’ proportions. Come hungry, folks. Come hungry.

You might have to wait a bit, but it’s worth it. Build-your-own crepes, waffles, breakfast tacos, omelets and more await you. There’s desserts, soups, fruit, quesadillas, etc. This brunch is a truly life altering experience and when you’re done, you’ll wonder if your stomach will ever shrink back to its normal size…because you will not be able to stop yourself. Brunch starts at 10 am. Mark your calendars.

Houston can never have too many fun Tex-Mex places. And each one is different, with it’s own personality and take on this enigmatic cuisine. But there’s no better place for brunch in Houston than Cadillac Bar. Hands down.
